Books

I’m fortunate that I’ve had the time and resources to write a handful of books.  Most sprang from my relationship with Genie.  But even the few that didn’t seem to have anything to do with Genie — a few action adventure books — really do.  Genie directly, and indirectly, informs a great deal of my writing.  I suspect she always will.

My books are available for purchase on Amazon.  All are in e-book format, but a few (the two to the right) are also available in print books.  On Amazon, you can see the cover art and read the first handful of pages, a short synopsis of other readers’ reviews.

Available books:

A Healing Way: Two Dogs, a Coyote, and an Old Soul
Flying Geese Hills and History
Flying Geese and the Hope Dogs
To Say Goodbye
The Cursed Hill: An Alex Drew Novel
One Last Shoe: An Alex Drew Novel
Country Grace and Beauty

I’ve also opened a storefront on Zazzle.

Here you can purchase certain products that have my photos on them, such as those pictured here.

When you fight cancer, you look for inspiration. You need inspiration. These photos are some that represent inspiration. They can be of the smallest thing, but in them Genie and I saw something, and for us, through all the years of pain and setback, they served as images of surprising strength and hope.

For instance, in the photo shown here, Maddie, our red Border collie, is only about six-months old. She was standing in brilliant green ivy, and the sun cast a line of bright light right over her face. Genie saw her eyes and the expression in them. “She thinks she can do anything, doesn’t she?” Genie asked. “That’s what Border collies are all about,” I said. And when cancer returned six months later, we continued to pull strength from this little girl…and she kept giving.
